The mausoleum of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hassani (AS) hosted the event, organized to showcase Islamic unity in the country.
A number of women Qaris recited verses from the Holy Quran and Bint al-Huda Tawasheeh (religious songs) group performed several Tawasheeh programs.
Addressing the session, Effat Shariati, director general of the women’s affairs department of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST) welcomed the participants and underlined the need for Islamic unity.
She said if unity is strengthened in the Muslim Ummah, the enemies of Islam will not succeed in their plots against the religion.
The program concluded with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Reyhaneh Malek, a female Qari from Pakistan.
