Classes of Visually-Impaired Quran Teacher Received Well

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Abdullah bin Ali al-Shayib is a visually-impaired memorizer of the entire Quran who holds Quranic classes for the visually—impaired and others.

 

Abdullah lives in al-Umran, a town in Saudi Arabia’s Shia-majority Al-Ahsa region in the Eastern Province.

According to al-Sharq daily, he lost his eyesight at the age of one due to smallpox.

He managed to learn the entire Quran by heart despite all the hardships he faced in life.

He began teaching Quran memorization a few years ago and his classes are warmly received by people in the town.

Abdullah, who has 9 children, also teaches the Quran in one of the schools in al-Umran.
