Iranian Qaris Attend Quranic Sessions in Iraq
According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, five prominent Iranian Quran reciters and memorizers have been dispatched to Irbil city in Kurdistan region of Iraq.
Muhammad Javad Olya, Ali Zamani, Hussein Ja’fari, Seyyed Hussein Siadati and Amir Abulqasemi, are the Qaris and Fatemeh Bakhtiari, is the Quran memorizer of the group.
Quran recitation and Tawasheeh and Ibtihal performance are among the programs performed by the Quran activists in the trip in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural Center.
Kirkuk city will also host the Quranic group from June 9 for five days.
During Ramadan, the ninth month in the Islamic Hijri calendar, Muslims all over the world fast (abstain from foods and drinks) from sunrise to sunset.
They also devote a considerable amount of time during this month to reading and contemplating the Quran.
