Iranian Master to Hold Quran Recitation Workshop in India
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A prominent Iranian Quran master will hold a workshop on Quran recitation techniques in Mysore, a city in India's southwestern Karnataka state.
Jahanbakhsh Faraji will teach different recitation techniques at the workshop, which begins on Wednesday and will include 4 sessions.
It will be held in English and the percipients who manage to pass the four-session course will receive a certificate of attendance.
Faraji has travelled to the South Asian country during the holy month of Ramadan.
He has attended several Quran recitation sessions in the cities of Bangalore and Mysore.
Every year during Ramadan, Quran reciters and Tawasheeh groups are sent from Iran to different countries to hold Quranic and religious programs for Muslim worshippers.
