Teenage Memorizer to Represent Tunisia in Int’l Quran Contest for Women

TEHRAN (IQNA) –  Hadil bint Jama’a has been selected as Tunisia’s representative in the upcoming international Quran competition for women in Iran.

 

According to journalistesfaxien.tn, the 17-year-old girl is a school student and a Quran memorizer.

She will compete in the category of memorization of the entire Quran.

Tehran’s Eram Hotel will host the second edition of the international Quran competition for women on April 21-24.

It will be one of five international Quranic events slated to be held in Tehran later this month.

The other four are the 35th International Quran Competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran (for men), and those for seminary students, the visually-impaired and school students.

Some 300 Quran reciters and memorizers from 83 countries will partake in the five contests.
