Students Quran Competition Planned in Jeddah

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Jeddah University announced that registration for the 10th edition of Saudi Arabia’s students Quran competition has started.

 

According to Abu Dhabi news website, the competition will be held from January 21 to 25, 2019 with the participation of students from 21 state universities and schools of the country.

More than 500 male and female students will compete on the memorization of the Quran in separate groups.

Memorization of 30, 20, 10 and 5 Juzes (parts) of Quran with observation of Tajweed principles are the categories of the contest.

The applicants should be a student at the third level of high school or studying at one of the universities in Jeddah Province.

Those above the age of 35 are not eligible to partake in the competition.
