Enemy to Be Defeated in Attack on Spirituality
Speaking at a recent meeting with members of a committee set up to organize a congress for commemorating martyrs of the South Khorasan province, Ayatollah Khamenei warned that the enemies of the Islamic Revolution have launched a serious onslaught on spiritual issues.
The Leader stressed, however, that like previous defeats in the hard war, the enemy will be defeated this time as well.
Ayatollah Khamenei further stressed the need for commemorating martyrs, saying it is among the best and most noble tasks and one that the country needs.
The Leader added that martyrs defended the country before achieving martyrdom and now defend Islam and Iran with their identity and spirituality.
Therefore, Ayatollah Khamenei said, the Sacred Defense does not end but is a progressive reality.
