Khaled Mashal said the deal of the century is a plan to sell Palestine and Quds with the money of Arabs themselves.
The Palestinian people will not allow this plan to be implemented, he underlined, adding that the Palestinians’ right to freedom, resistance and ending occupation is not up for bargaining.
He further referred to the ongoing US-Israeli-sponsored conference in Bahrain to sell the ‘deal of the century’ and criticized the Arab countries that are attending the event.
The deal of century ploy, fronted by US President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, has been rejected by the Palestinians, who say the White House's policies have been blatantly biased in favor of Israel.
Palestinians have cut off all contacts with the Trump administration since the president broke with decades of bipartisan policy to recognize Quds as the capital of Israel in December 2017.
Bahrain is hosting a conference since Tuesday to encourage what it calls investment in the West Bank and Gaza Strip as part of Trump’s plan for Palestine.
The so-called “Peace to Prosperity” economic conference has been boycotted by Palestinian officials and business leaders.
