Head of Palestine Islamic Council Visits IQNA

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Head of Palestine’s Islamic Council Sheikh Muhammad Nimr Zaqmout visited the International Quran News Agency on Sunday.

Sheikh Zaqmout, who is in Iran for the 33^rd International Islamic Unity Conference, toured different news desks of the news agency during the visit and learned about their activities.

Themed “Ummah unity in defending the al-Aqsa Mosque,” the International Islamic Unity Conference began in Tehran on Thursday, with 350 personalities from 93 countries in attendance, and concluded on Saturday.

Marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), it is held annually in an effort to lay the ground for stronger unity and solidarity among Muslims and provide solutions for their problems.
