TEHRAN (IQNA) – Algeria’s Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs said a national placement test will be held in the country for students of Quran schools and Quranic centers.

According to the ministry, the examination will be organized on September 10-11, Ennahar Online reported.

Those willing to take the exam need to refer to the Awqaf departments in provinces, it said.

The deadline for registration is July 29, the ministry went on to say.

The exam will be hosted by Awqaf departments’ educational centers in selected cities across the country, the ministry added.

Algeria is an Arab country in North Africa. Muslims make up about ninety-nine percent of the country’s population.
