New Zarih Being Installed at Holy Shrine of Hazrat Zaynab (SA)
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A new Zarih built for the holy shrine of Hazrat Zaynab (SA) is being installed at the mausoleum in Damascus, Syria.
A Zarih is an outer sarcophagus enclosure of a holy shrine.
The new Zarih was designed by Iraqi artists and built at the order of the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) in Karbala, Iraq.
It was taken from Najaf to Karbala in a ceremony and then loaded on a cargo airplane belonging to the Iraqi air force at the Najaf International Airport.
It has a wooden framework and has been decorated with verses of the Quran and Hadiths.
