Deputy of the custodianship of Imam Ali’s (AS) holy shrine in Najaf said that new cultural centers will be opened in America, Britain and Germany to disseminate Imam Ali’s (AS) thoughts in the West.

According to the information website of the holy shrine, Zuhair Sharbah said that the custodianship plans to open cultural centers in Washington, London and Aachen where a large number of Muslim minorities reside.

Considering the importance of disseminating Alawi thoughts in the world, particularly in non-Muslim countries, the project will be implemented as one of the religious duties of the custodianship.

It plans to open the cultural centers in the capital cities of all countries in the near future, he added.

The deputy stressed that establishment of the centers will be the first steps of the custodianship taken to realize its intellectual and cultural objectives in the world.

Sharbah added that through opening cultural centers, schools and intellectual institutes in various parts of the world, the custodianship will provide opportunities for Muslim minorities to get acquainted with Imam Ali’s (AS) thoughts.
