Moderation Is Foundation of Islam’s Message

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A former Mufti of Lebanon referred to moderation as the basis of Islam’s message.

 Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani added that moderation should be on top the agenda of Muslim preachers and scholars.

He also underlined the need for Muslim unity and said the only way to tackle the dangers that threaten the region is maintaining unity.
The former Mufti of Lebanon further considered confronting the Zionist regime and supporting the resistance movements as necessary for all Arabs and Muslims.
Sheikh Qabbani said so long as Palestine is under the Zionist regime occupation, the region will not see calm and peace.
The issue of Palestine must be kept alive and all the paths towards normalization of ties with the Zionist regime should be blocked, he went on to say.
