Registration Underway for Brunei Nat'l Quran Competition

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Registration is underway for the national Quran competition in Brunei, which is slated for March 2022.

Brunei’s Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) through the Department of Youth and Sports will organize the preliminary rounds of  the National Youth Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran on March 4 -7 next year.

The competition is open to citizens or permanent residents, aged 15 to 30, born between January 1, 1992 and December 31, 2007, who have not been crowned champion in competitions such as the international level Tilawah Al-Quran Competition organized by the Malaysian government or the Southeast Asia Youth Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran organized by the MCYS.

Participants must also register on YSNet via https://ysnet.gov.bn/.

The closing date for participation is January 31.
