Carpets Replaced at Prophet’s Mosque Ahead of Ramadan

IQNA – The carpets in Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa at the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina have been replaced in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan.

The General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has replaced the carpets.  

The new, high-quality carpets are part of a series of improvements in services implemented by the authority to enhance the experience of visitors to the mosque.

Ramadan, the ninth month in the Islamic calendar, is a time that witnesses a significant increase in visitors to the mosque from around the world.

The General Authority has also trained 1,350 female volunteers to equip them with the skills necessary to provide high-quality services to women who visit the mosque.

Topics covered during training included crowd management, communication with visitors to the mosques, management of volunteer events, and caring for the elderly and people with disabilities.
